WHO WE ARE

We are poets who try to live out their art to the fullest extent possible. We assume there are others who will join us along the way. 

WHAT WE DO

We publish poetry and other radical art: full-length collections, experimental chapbooks, an online magazine of poetry and art, and a blog where we’ll publish anything you send us that we think is cool.

WHAT WE WANT

1. LIVED EXPERIENCE

We value lived experiences. We align with beat and bohemian culture. We draw inspiration from our own lives and live to write about it. Drink beer…kill war…repeat. Maybe they’ll all read it, or read about it, and maybe they won’t. We’ll be living and writing all the same. 

We try to see the stuff of life for itself, with no corruption or ego. You could travel the world or live in the same six blocks your whole life, doesn’t matter; the journey is right in front of you, within you. Wake up and look around, write it all down. 

2. SEEKING

There’s something missing. It makes us different from everyone else, always has. We sit off-kilter, uncomfortable, and it makes us see things that no one else sees, makes it so we can’t sit still. Nothing satisfies, nothing dulls the edge.  

We need more from life and death and what comes after. We need to hold each passing moment, especially the quiet ones, they keep slipping away.

We know there’s more than what the people on the screens are telling us. We must find out for ourselves. 

3. RAW, GRITTY, VULNERABLE SINCERITY

We want prophetic, absurd, surreal. Turbulence, disruption, distortion. Antimatter. Entropy. Yet we also demand intimate, innocent, quiet, honest. In all things we want hunger, a lonesome yearning.
