David Duncan – Milk Poem 10

Perfect for each other
by David Duncan

She never wears makeup
and laughs at everything
- likes milk & dark chocolate,
coffee & dark chocolate,
and dark chocolate.
He never wears a belt,
doesn't think vanilla is a flavor,
and likes milk - especially condensed milk
boiled into caramel
and served cold on a green plate
or heavy cream fluffed and whipped
and piled high on pumpkin pie
that she makes with condensed milk
and serves with a glass of milk.
